The Village of Portage currently has one park within the village. Enright Park is located on the East side in the 212-320 range of S. Findlay Pike (SR 25), just north of the StoneCo Quarry.
This park is a work in progress for the Village with active plans to improve the existing baseball diamond in the rear (Shinew Field), to finish the new ball diamond near the front, to finish the new sand volleyball court, and to replace the playground equipment. All of these efforts are being led by citizens of Portage and are currently exclusively funded through the generous donations of individuals, families, organizations and businesses in and around the village.
Enright Park includes a shelter house, gazebo, 2 baseball diamonds, a basketball court, a hill (good for sledding in the winter), a playground, and large grass areas for activities. All facilities are available for reservation on a first request basis. The process for reserving the facilities are detailed below.
